New Seasons 2026-27 Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions out now!

These documents were prepared using feedback from the recent sailor survey, so thank you to everyone who took the time to respond. Your input will help make racing fairer and more accessible.

Here are the main updates. For full details, please read the documents below.

·Division 2 silver fleet. The silver fleet gives newer Division 1 sailors the option of racing in a smaller fleet on a shorter course, helping them build confidence, skills and stamina. You can elect to join when signing on. Once you've chosen, you'll sail in Division 2 for the whole series, unless the Sailing Captain or rostered Race Officer approves a formal request to change at least 24 hours before the race. Please note that multihulls with yardsticks of 83 or under are not eligible for Division 2 trophies when sailing the Division 2 course, but they will be noted in the results on race days.

·Division 4 course update. To allow for the speed variation between division 4 and 5, division 4 will now be sailing three laps for both course 1 and 2.

·Division 5 is back. Division 4 is now monohulls with yardsticks over 118 and up to 125, and Division 5 covers monohulls over 125 and up to 132.

·Division 6 new courses. Division 6 will now sail two laps for each of their races. For more details, take a look at Course 1 and Course 2 in the SIs Appendices.

·Insurance. All boats must now hold third-party liability cover of $10,000,000 per incident.

·W T Long Trophy. The trophy will now be awarded to both the youngest single-handed and youngest double-handed skipper.
