SYC offers members the opportunity to hire club boats on race days and in social sailing time frames.

These include:

Pacers, and Hobie Waves, & Hobie 16

Club Hawks are available for Seasonal Hire.

The Club Pacers, Hobie waves and Hobie 16 are available for casual use according to the Club Boat Hire Policy.

There is a catch! People borrowing the Pacers and Hobie wave &16 must know how to sail. This ensures our boats are treated properly and looked after, as well as rigged and sailed without risking yourselves and others.       

A non-refundable booking fee of

$20 per half-day applies for all 2 person boats  ( Pacers and Hobie 16)

 $15 per half-day for a 1 person boat ( Hobie  wave )  

Hawks are for Seasonal Hire for $250 and subject to Terms and Conditions. 

Bookings must be made inside club race times or social sailing times. 

This is due to the need for a Patrol Boat to be on the water or ready on the beach to help if needed, keeping you and our equipment safe.

Club Hobie 16 to be booked in consultation with another Hobie sailor for advice and suitability.
