Somers sailors are a very active and friendly bunch, with a broad demographic of ages.  

We offer many forms of sailing activities during the sailing season. The sailing season runs from October to April, and we offer training, social sailing, cruises, novelty events and short course racing. We have an even mix of both catamarans and mono-hulls. Please visit our calendar for dates. Standard racing is on Saturday afternoons and is supported by our excellent Sea Rescue facilities. 

Classes sailed include Catamarans of Hobie 16, Hobie 14 & Turbo, Hobie Dragoon, Mosquito, A Class and Mono Hulls of Tasar, Contender, Laser, Sabre, Impulse, Pacer, 125, Optimist, Hawk and Open skiff.  
All Off the Beach boats are most welcome.
