Somers sailors are a very active and friendly bunch, with a broad demographic of ages.  

• We offer many forms of sailing activities during the sailing season.
• The sailing season runs from October to April - please visit our calendar for dates.
• We offer training, social sailing, cruises, novelty events and short course racing.
• Standard racing is on Saturday afternoons and is supported by our excellent Sea Rescue facilities. 
• We have an even mix of both catamarans and mono-hulls and Classes sailed include:

 Catamarans: Hobie 16, Hobie 14 & Turbo, Hobie Dragoon, Mosquito, A Class

Mono Hull: Tasar, Contender, Laser, Sabre, Impulse, Pacer, 125, Optimist, Hawk and Open skiff.  

All Off the Beach boats are most welcome.
